CBOSS is certified as a Level I Service Provider with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) which assures our online payment processing and e-commerce customers that our hosting environment for payment transactions is compliant with the industry's most rigorous standard for data security.
Our network operations center (NOC) located in Youngstown, Ohio features redundant hardware systems and connectivity at every level possible, from Internet backbone connectivity to server local area network (LAN) connections. Because of this, we are able to guarantee uptimes in excess of 99%. Our approach to load balancing and clustering provides us with the ability to quickly increase processing power as needed.

Dedicated Hosting
Dedicated hosting is the right solution for a client whose storage and processing needs require a dedicated service. CBOSS provides all proactive and reactive system support with 99.5% availability.
Shared Hosting
For most of our hosting customers, a dedicated hosting environment is not necessary. CBOSS has developed platforms for those requirements that utilize a shared hosting infrastructure, whether the solution requires a single server or group of clustered servers. Even clients with dedicated environments can utilize shared backups, database systems, or firewalls. As your needs grow, there is an easy migration path to a dedicated solution.
Online Payment/E-commerce hosting
For those customers who use our Central Payment Portal for online payment processing, an online storefront or other type of e-commerce application, we provide a PCI- secure hosting environment.
Any business or government taking payments today must provide its customers with a compliant and secure environment to protect credit card and banking data during the transaction and settlement process. A PCI-certified environment assures our customers that their customers’ data is safeguarded while their online businesses are always available and can accommodate future growth. Customers have the add benefit of being able to offload the investment and risk in rigorous data security to CBOSS.
Co-Location
Similar to dedicated hosting, co-location is ideal for those clients who want to retain the responsibility for managing their servers offsite with their trusted hosting provider. The customer may add additional CBOSS services to enhance the overall solution such as monitoring services or managed tape backups. Depending on a customer’s need, CBOSS will work with co-location customers to determine the type and level of support, administrative and infrastructure requirements they need for co-location arrangements.
Clustered Hosting
Clustered hosting is an ideal solution for customers wanting high availability dedicated hosting that provides a scalable migration path. Our web sites run on server clusters of Microsoft Windows 2003 and 2008 Servers with a minimum of one Intel Xeon 3.0 GHz processor with 2 GB of RAM. We utilize high powered Microsoft Windows Server 2008 clustered database servers with shared RAID storage to insure high availability of Microsoft SQL 2005 databases. This design allows us to manage and balance the flow of traffic to our servers, provide for a swift build out of additional hosting capacity, insure almost no downtime server and software maintenance, and perform automatic monitoring and fail over of server resources.
