WISCONSIN CITY SELECTS THE CBOSS CENTRAL PAYMENT PORTAL FOR ONLINE TAX PAYMENTS

The city of Brookfield is providing taxpayers with the ability to pay their property taxes online through the city's website. It was important to the city that the service be made available to residents and businesses prior to the 2007 year tax bill mailing.
The CBOSS Central Payment Portal (CPP) was able to meet the city's time frame and provided the highly secure payment portal and ease of implementation that city officials wanted. County Executive Dan Vrakas said, "This initiative not only provides city of Brookfield citizens with a more convenient way to pay their taxes, but it makes the best use of public resources by using existing technology."
The CBOSS CPP offers taxpayers the option of paying with any one of the major credit cards or an electronic check and has been managing the online tax payments for Waukesha County, WI, since 2003.
