CBOSS and Ciber, a systems integrator, teamed up to offer the City and County of San Francisco a suite of online services supported by the CBOSS Central Payment Portal. The customer wanted to expand services to their citizens by web-enabling key services and providing frequently requested forms.
CBOSS and Ciber worked together to integrate multiple process applications into a seamless experience. The deployed systems include Civil Ceremony Reservations, Parking Ticket Payment, Property Tax Information & Payment, Payroll Tax Filing & Registration, Business Name Search and online application and payments for Electrical, Plumbing and Simple Building Permits.
The system allows departments and agencies of the City and County to develop and maintain e-business functions through their own site and, through APIs, to process each transaction via the Central Payment Portal (CPP).
With this solution, the City and County now have the ability to process all transactions through the CPP. The CPP keeps existing business process flows intact for the recordkeeping functions of individual departments, assuring a continuum of customer service and information retrieval, while creating a centralized management point for accounting and budget functions.
